Shropshire Conference 

‘Living, Learning & Growing up with Autism’

Our 9th Shropshire Autism conference will once again provide opportunities to hear expert speakers, share ideas and chat with others who have similar experiences.

Understanding your child with autism.

A free one day course for family carers of children with autism or being assessed for autism.

Lego Club

A Lego play session for children with autism or autistic traits, their siblings and parents.

The club is suitable for children of all ages who love Lego. There will be plenty of Lego for everyone and toys suitable for younger siblings too.

When? Monday 19th February 2018

Childrens’ Play Session.

A free play session for children with autism or children being assessed for autism, their siblings and parents.A chance to meet and chat with other parents, children and Autism West Midlands staff.

When? Thursday 22nd February 2018, 1.00pm - 3,00pm
Where? The Children’s Centre, Woodside Primary School, Gittin Street, Oswestry, SY11 1DT.

Saturday Group

Join us every first and third Saturday of the month! Come and play board games and more! The social group is for young people on the autism spectrum ages 9 to 18 years.

When? Every first and third Saturday of the month from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Where? Beechtree Community Centre, (next to the Community Hospital) Claypit Street, Whitchurch, SY13 1NT.

Parent Support Group (Evenings) - Shrewsbury

An opportunity to meet with other parents, share ideas, celebrate achievements and offer support. A member of Autism West Midlands will be present to offer advice and guidance.

Free one to one advice and guidance for parents/carers of individuals on the autism spectrum. Please book a 45 minute appointment in advance.

An opportunity to meet other parents who have a child with autism, to share tips and stories, and access resources in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
