Challenges Unlimited hopes this newsletter finds you safe and well during these extraordinary times. We continue to be available to support you during the COVID-19 pandemic and operating in the "new normal".  CUI is closely monitoring the adventure and camp industry to keep our clients up to date on the latest developments. There are many considerations for organizations to navigate. CUI is here to help you with that process.

The Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) is continuing to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation, and you may find their Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19 useful.  They are also hosting "huddles" and providing other resources, all of which you may access through the above link. The Climbing Wall Association is keeping people up to date, and you can click here to see their updates on the current situation.  The publication Adventure Park Insider is also providing resources that can be accessed here.  They also are hosting weekly "huddles" where industry professionals meet to discuss steps for moving forward.

CUI will continue to update you with any pertinent news regarding the current situation in relation to the industry. Feel free to contact us here as you navigate these uncertain times. We are here to help!

We have received many inquiries how to sanitize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and course elements. The careful consideration required for sanitization of PPE and course elements is rapidly developing given the current COVID-19 situation.

Please see below for links the equipment manufacturers have provided to aid you through this process.

For further questions about equipment and element sanitization, please contact us here.

CUI is pleased to continue to offer custom workshops for clients who require them when the time is right.  For any clients who have custom workshops scheduled, CUI is working to ensure these can be delivered in the safest manner possible given the current COVID-19 situation.  We will continue to update any camps or adventure facilities that have scheduled workshops with us.

If you are planning on operating at some point in 2020, it is best practise to ensure your staff have had annual training at your adventure facility.

Please contact us here if you have any questions about our policies and guidelines around our workshops.

At this time, CUI is hoping to run our open enrollment workshops in May and June.  However, this situation remains fluid and we will remain in contact with all registrants.

For those who have a Level 1 or Level 2 certification that is expiring, please note that CUI is handling each of these certifications on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to us via email to discuss options.

If you require equipment for your program, CUI has got you covered!  We are proud to carry leading equipment manufacturers such as Edelrid, Headrush Technologies, ISC, and Teufelberger among others.

For any equipment needs, please visit our webstore, or we can also be reached by email or phone Miles at 705-706-0485.
