Great West Way

We are delighted to announce that VisitWiltshire has been successful in securing £1m over two years from the Discover England Fund to develop the Great West Way into a premier touring route between London and Bristol.

The ‘Great West Way’ project will be led by VisitWiltshire and is set to transform tourism along the 125-mile route – a quarter of which is in Wiltshire.

This is one of a number of successful projects made possible by HM Government’s £40m Discover England Fund, administered by VisitEngland (www.discoverenglandfund.org)

The ‘Great West Way’ project will be supported by 40% match funding from partners in the public and private sectors.

2018 Consumer Publications

Advertise in our 2018 print
Although work has started on our family of publications for 2018 there is still time to book advertising within them. Prices start from just £60 in the Travel Trade Guide, £72.50 in the Visitor Guide and £105 in the Visitor Map. Both standard entries and display adverts are available – see here for details of all the options.

Information for Events Calendars
Attraction and Town partners are invited to submit up to 6 events for possible inclusion in the events calendars within our 2018 printed publications. Ideally we would like both the name of the event and the exact 2018 date(s), but failing that please send Jenny the name of the event and the month in which it takes place. The deadline is Monday 31 July.
