As you may already know, my country, Austria, is soon going to host the 1st IWCC International Winter Consensus Conference on Dermatology. This big training event is going to be held in Kitzbühel from 13 to 15 December 2012 and is going to deal with the most interesting aspects of modern dermatology thanks to the contribution of some of the world's most outstanding experts in the field and the participation of exceptional guests. The IWCC is born under the aegis of the World Health Academy (WHA), a foundation established under Swiss law with the objective of providing leadership on global health issues, by the setup of a global health agenda and promoting continuing medical education. WHA (World Health Academy) in its maiden Dermatology Conference in Kitzbühel, Austria from 12th to 15th December 2012 is happy to announce a number of scholarships to facilitate attendance of young, energetic and interested dermatologists and dermatology residents from all over the world. The Congress President Dr. Abdel Medhat Malek and Organization President Prof. Robert A. Schwartz are delighted to provide the details of the scholarships as under. There will be a total of 50 scholarships available.

  • 25 scholarships recipients will avail of a total waiver on the congress registration fees.
  • 25 scholarship recipients will be able to register at a significantly reduced registration charge of Euro 100. READ MORE

The first international school of vitiligo and pigmentary disorders was held in Barcelona, Spain from 2-5th of November 2011. The school was organized by Vitiligo Reserch Foundation under the direction of the members of its leadership team managed by Prof. Torello Lotti and Prof. Jana Hercogova.
