Then relish in Stoneboat Vineyard wine or Parallel 49 beer while sampling a variety of canapes. At 9 pm live music begins with jazz drummer Bernie Arai followed by festival favourite Kaya Kurz.

Accessibility Info: 750 Hamilton is not at street level. The easiest way to find it is to get yourself to Hamilton Street between Robson and Georgia. Mid-block, with the Library behind you, you will be looking at a JJ Bean coffee kiosk. To the right of that, you will see a set of concrete steps leading up. Follow those to 750 and dial 110 on the entryphone to be admitted to The Post at 750! People with mobility issues are encouraged to use the elevator in the atrium of the CBC Broadcast Centre at 700 Hamilton Street, then go past the Security desk to the breezeway. 750 will be on your left when you exit the doors at Security.

Vancouver-based Japanese artist Michiko Suzuki's solo exhibition, featuring elegant printed silk tents contain "hope chests" embodying the dreams and aspirations of adolescent women. Incorporating printmaking and photography within a richly layered structure, the artist creates intimate portraits of eight young women from diverse cultural groups.

Taking inspiration from Takao Tanabe’s Sumie works, the Museum’s annual spring fundraiser will be around the theme of INK! Featuring gorgeous pieces by a diverse group of contemporary and traditional artists and artisans who have generously donated work in all media, there will be a preview for two weeks prior in the Nikkei National Museum gallery (from May 17) as well as online. Many of the participating artists will be in attendance.
