Hey there, <<Greeting>>!
It’s time for our eighth video and that means its Sophie time! Yep, this week’s video is all about our bright and silly ten-year-old! She’s had a bit of a rough year jumping in to a school that’s all in German 75% of the time, but she’s been a trooper and made the most of it! We’re excited that next year she’ll be at English-based Black Forest Academy (BFA).
Sophie is smart and funny and super creative! We love her and wouldn’t have her any other way!
As for our bite campaign, we’ve found out about another three bites this week that brings us up to twenty-four $25/month bites taken and is exactly one-third of the bites we need to raise our support to full-time status.
We’ve been asked this several times recently:
“You’re not starting over in your need for support? You just need to add to the support you already have, right?â€
To this, the answer is absolutely correct!
Our first year here was on a reduced, short-termer’s budget that ends in June. Our full-timer’s budget starts in July and will require another $1,800 a month. That’s where we get the 72 bites (seventy-two $25 bites equals $1,800). About half of that is just the difference between traveler’s insurance and long-term health insurance. Other large chunks include dental coverage and the kid’s school.
If you’ve been meaning to join our financial team, but just haven’t, there are only two weeks left of this campaign. Please, if you feel called to be part of the ministry happening here in Germany and all of Europe, please take at least one bite, if not more. Many have already taken bites, and we’re very grateful. One bite—$25 a month, less than a weekly visit to Starbucks—might not seem like a lot, but it would be huge for us!
Thanks for watching, reading, and partnering with us!
