Super Bowl Party - Sunday, February 2nd

Join us Sunday, February 2nd for our annual Super Bowl Party. Whether you like football or not, this is a great excuse to get together, eat some good food, laugh at dumb commercials, and build community.

We've used many formats over the years - multiple "regional" parties, a Super Bowl Party and an Anti-Super Bowl Party. This year we're keeping it simple and just doing one big one. The Bazers (3809 Sparrow Pond Ln., Raleigh) have volunteered to host and they have lots of room for all our niches - youth hanging out upstairs, football fans watching the game in one room, anti-football people chatting about Netflix shows in another room... It's the best of all worlds.

The game starts at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Bring a dish to share. For more information CLICK HERE.

On Sunday, January 26th, we will be discussing the importance of Community in our Great Omission (Refresh 2020) series. So we are going to put our money where our mouth is... Actually, that's just a figure of speech. We're going to put food where our mouth is, which is way better.

Following worship, our youth ministry will lead us in a fun Family Brunch. Our teens will be cooking pancakes and waffles (start praying for them now!), and youth families will be providing some fun dishes to complete the brunch. Be sure to stay around after church to eat some good food, meet some new people, and/or laugh and connect with some old people.

Holly Stephens' women's small group is about to begin a new study. If you are not yet part of a small group, now is the perfect time to get connected! Interested? Email Holly today.

Saturday Morning Men's Group for 2020 resumes tomorrow, 8:30am at A Place at the Table. Prior to last year's book study, we were using reflections from Richard Rohr as our prompts. Now that the book study is complete, we are returning to Richard Rohr. Join us! There is no homework. We will read the prompt together Saturday morning and then dive into conversation. Click here for more details!
We are in need of a few additional Ekk Kids volunteers. If you're interested in serving our kids, email Lindsay Stevenson.

Also, be sure to download this month's Family Connection to see what they are learning in kid's church!
