OMEGA + Brazil

Thank you for helping send Matthew to Brazil and for all your support for OMEGA.

Planning, preparing, packing and then suddenly you're off! For the OMEGA students the trip is the culmination of 8 months of intense discipleship and mentoring. It is by no means the end goal, but a chance to cement so much of what has been forming throughout the school year. It is an awesome experience to be a part of.
Thank you to everyone who contributed towards the costs of Matthew's trip and to everyone who prayed for us, the OMEGA students, and the people we met in Brazil.

We experienced incredible open doors and opportunity. Between the four teams we presented the message of the Gospel to literally thousands of students across southern Brazil. As we were obedient, God was faithful and we saw people come to faith and people confronted with the reality of who God is. With all the chaos, kilometers, and adjusting with our kids, we can say it was absolutely worth it.
The 2015 OMEGA class is full of potential and future leaders and we count ourselves privileged to have walked with them for this season.
We lack the words to express how highly we think of Randy and Carla, how much we learned from them, and how much we enjoy them.
Team ministry requires flexibility and a willingness to jump in and do what needs doing...this sometimes involves a full-body Spiderman costume.
Connecting across cultures and language barriers is work, but it's incredibly rewarding. We will carry a few folks in our hearts forever.
This month we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. It's amazing to see where God's adventure has brought us and we're grateful for you journeying with us. In fact, until now, we have always celebrated our anniversary in a new country.

QUICK UPDATE: Amber is on board for another academic year with OMEGA while Matthew continues his jobs and his studies. Daxon is already excited for pre-school in September and Zala has better sentence structure than her parents. We never dreamed that life would look quite this way, but as we are obedient, God is faithful.
He is incredibly faithful.
