Dear <<First Name>>,
This year is flying past. Perhaps that is a sign that we are getting older, or at least that we have a busy schedule! It seems like yesterday that Kaylah was born, but she is coming up to three months already. She loves to watch her siblings and they love to entertain and care for her. Recently, she has been sleeping better at night, so life is slowly returning to the new normal. Here are some snapshot updates and prayer requests:
Cor Deo - We are into the final weeks of the full-time programme for 2012. It is so encouraging to see the team thriving this year. We were recently joined by most of last year's team, plus spouses, for our first reunion. This was the first gathering of the growing Cor Deo family and it was such an encouragement to be together. In the next few weeks, as well as the full time programme, we also have a Delighted by God conference in London, another in Bristol, and a one-week intensive. Please pray for Cor Deo 2012 to finish strongly and for God to bring together the team for 2013.
Other Ministry - Peter has been preaching a lot at our church here, working through Galatians and now the early chapters of Acts. He is scheduled to present five sessions at the European Leadership Forum in Hungary at the end of May. This is a very strategic opportunity to influence leaders from across Europe. He is also looking forward to running a Cor Deo Intensive in Portland, OR, at the end of July. For more info on the forthcoming Cor Deo events, please click here.
Family - Schooling is returning to normal after an adjusted schedule following the arrival of Kaylah. The children have learned a lot about caring for a newborn, enjoy a mid season break from school and still are only six weeks from finishing a full school year! They will finish just in time for our summer visit to the US. Please pray for the school year to finish well, and for character growth as well as academic learning!
Thank you so much for praying for us. Please see the request in the right hand column.
With our love,
Peter, Melanie, Hannah, Aliyah, Mariah, Joel and Kaylah
