LaCrosse Regional Tourism Expo Update
ACED recently had the opportunity to participate in the first Annual LaCrosse Regional Tourism Expo held in LaCrosse, WI on December 3rd. It was a day filled with lots of conversation and many good connections and bus tour opportunities were realized. Many visitors to our booth were familiar with our area but were not knowledgeable on all we had to offer. The main topics of interest from these potential visitors seemed to center around our Empty Nest Winery; Effigy Mounds National Monument, the Great River Road Byway, our own Driftless Area Scenic Byway and WHAT DID WE HAVE TO OFFER FOR BIKE TRAILS!!!! I definitely feel that our presence at that show will enhance our visitor numbers next summer.
