Excellence in Construction 2015 Specialty Contractor (ICE Award)
You may remember the Lakewood Church precast removal job from last year, which required the crane operator to work blindly by radio to coordinate with operators on the fifth floor to remove three precast concrete slabs. ATI was awarded the Excellence in Construction 2015 Specialty Contractor (ICE Award) by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Greater Houston chapter on October 1. ATI was also recognized for hiring veterans. All national and regional awards are listed on the web site.
Under ideal circumstances the PCM can safely cut and remove 200 piles per day with one machine and one operator....Our custom equipment allowed us to cut and remove 10,000 14” x 14” and 18” x 18” precast concrete piles at Motiva in Port Arthur, Texas, for which Aggregate Technologies was awarded an ABC Excellence in Construction Award in 2009....
