Our guest for the evening, Ms. Serene Katranji-Zeni will lead our discussion.
Ms. Katranji-Zeni is an attorney in Troy, Michigan, whose practice focuses on offering professionals in the healthcare sector assistance in expanding their practices and ensuring full regulatory compliance. She ultimately guides clients through the risk management process and in undertaking complex transactional matters. The topic of discussion will involve understanding and negotiating your contract as you enter the medical profession.

EVENT HIGHLIGHT:
FSU COLLEGE OF MEDICINE'S WOMEN IN MEDICINE EVENT
A diverse panel composed of female physicians from various specialties met with forty medical students during an AMWA event at FSU College of Medicine to answer students' questions. Topics ranged from work/life balance, sexism experienced in the workplace, as well as health policy issues and negotiating salary and benefits.
PATH NEEDS YOUR HELP
AMWA’s initiative Physicians Against the Trafficking of Humans (PATH), would like to hear if and how your chapter is spreading awareness about human trafficking in your community. This survey will be used to assess student knowledge about PATH and assist in developing methods for engaging students with PATH at the local level.
