AMWA Charlotte Maguire Mentorship Database

The AMWA Charlotte Maguire Mentorship Database is NOW OPEN! This database is composed of medical students, residents, and physicians who are interested in mentoring women in medicine throughout their education and medical training. We hope this database can serve as a networking resource for our members between our annual meetings, where mentors and mentees can connect and define their relationships based on their own personal needs. If you are interested in being a mentor or a mentee, please sign-up for the database here (you must be logged into your AMWA account to sign-up for and view the database).
MEET THE PRESIDENT

Fatima is an incoming fourth year at Oakland University William Beaumont (OUWB) School of Medicine in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Her goals for the upcoming year include working with chapters to increase involvement at the national level, strengthening AMWA partnerships, and encouraging mentorship within AMWA. Fatima is also an artist and strongly believes that art and medicine work in a synergistic fashion--something she hopes to incorporate into her future as a dermatologist. Her current research includes how art therapy can be used for stress management in inpatient physical rehab units, teledermatology business modeling, microRNA wound healing, and alternative treatments to seborrheic keratoses. Check out her blog: http://eatpaintheal.blogspot.com/
