There are still ways to become a National AMWA Student Leader!
If you are still interested in becoming involved in national advocacy efforts, AMWA is looking for strong student leaders to join our National Committees. These committees, such as the Breast Cancer Task Force and Physicians Against the Trafficking of Humans, conduct the research, advocacy, and promotion that make this organization a strong force for the advancement of women in medicine. Students will work alongside physicians and residents, building both leadership skills in healthcare advocacy and a tight-knit network. Opportunities exist as well for publishing primary research and position papers.
