St. James Chamber Chatter April 2019

From the desk of the Executive Director

As we start the month of April we are already working on the final touches of Hot Dog Days with the addition of City Wide Garage Sales and Crazy Days.   For those of you that have hidden treasures that you are willing to sell the opportunity to be part of a City Wide promotion will have the added benefit of advertising on the back page of the Shopper,  Facebook with boosts, maps and description of treasures you are selling. All for the low price of $ 15.00. Contact the chamber office or complete the application which is on the discoverstjamesmn.com website.

Help is still needed for the various events for Rail Road Days.  If you are willing to sell raffle tickets, take flyers to area communities, raise funds, and offer to help in any capacity contact the chamber office.  Thanks to those community members that have already stepped forward.

Easter and Graduation dates are almost here and an excellent basket filler or graduation gift is Chamber Dollars.  The recipient is able to purchase what they want and the Chamber members are also the recipient of having a sale in their store.

Thanks to those who participated or helped with the Freeze Your Caboose Off 5K.  The weather cooperated and participants from ages 7 to 71 had a great time.

Always keep up with the community calendar on discoverstjamesmn.com, the Chamber Chatter for upcoming events and follow us on Facebook @discoverstjamesmn.

Have a great April!

Joe McCabe, Executive Director
