On Wednesday, December 15th, Dr. Hilary J. Scarsella, Assistant Professor of Ethics and Director of Gender, Sexual and Racial Justice Studies at CRCDS presented Meaghan de Chateauvieux, President and CEO at Willow Domestic Violence Center in Rochester, NY with a check for $1,100. Monday Motivation with Dr. Angela D. Sims 
Fulfilling our vision to be a seminary of and for the community, committed to practices of peace, service, and justice, CRCDS was pleased to our first Monday Meditation in December. This was hosted by Dr. Angela D. Sims. These meditations will come the first Monday of each month, hopefully inspiring you to reflect on God’s gifts and purpose in your life. Faculty Position in Religious History (Tenure-Track)

CRCDS invites qualified applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Religious History beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year.

End of Year Giving
In an early December letter, Dr. Sims wrote, "It is with an abundance of gratitude that we acknowledge God’s faithfulness as we approach the end of another year and semester at CRCDS. We acknowledge that for many in our community, these times have not been easy." Read the full letter HERE.
New Graduate Certificate Launched at CRCDS
CRCDS is excited to announce a NEW Graduate Certificate, the Foundational Theological Certificate. This certificate is ideal for those whom seminary is not a prerequisite for licensing and / or ordination, ministry leaders, religious educators, clergy spouses, and others who provide valuable service in support of the church’s ministry of Christian religious education. Rev. Dr. Carrie M. Call, CRDS '90
is serving as the Conference Minister of the Penn Central Conference of the UCC, overseeing about 175 churches. 

Callid Keefe-Perry, Ph.D., CRCDS '13 
is serving as the Assistant Professor of Contextual Education and Public Theology at the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. He was also named to the Board of Directors for the Religious Education Association and appointed the Senior Editor of the Journal for Arts, Religion, and Theological Studies. 

Rev. Jennifer A. Lessard, CRCDS '16 and '20 
has been called as Pastor of York Baptist Church in York, NY. 

Rev. Lynda J. Myers, CRCDS ‘21,
was ordained by the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Rochester, NY on October 23, 2021, and installed at the United Church of Auburn, NY on November 7, 2021. 

Rev. Dr. Timothy Spring, CRCDS '06 
is retiring as Executive Pastor at North Hills Community Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, PA after 32 years of ministry.
