Maltz Performing Arts Center

Maltz Performing Arts Center Phase Two
In the fall of 2015, Case Western Reserve celebrated the opening of the Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at The Temple-Tifereth Israel, the result of an innovative partnership between the university and the congregation of a historic Cleveland synagogue. Following a major renovation, the Temple sanctuary, Silver Hall, has become a venue for music, lectures and other forms of cultural enrichment.

For Phase Two of the Maltz Center project, we envision new facilities for all of the college's performing arts programs: music, dance and theater. Our preliminary plans include rehearsal studios, practice rooms, and costume and scene shops—all with state-of-the-art technology to foster the kind of in-depth learning, creativity and innovation that will enrich our students’ learning experience and contribute to our overall academic environment.

For more information about how to become engaged and support the Maltz Performing Arts Center, please contact Elizabeth Klein, national development director for the College of Arts and Sciences, at 216.368.5764 or Learn more.
