| Focus Up Group
Every Saturday in January | 5pm

As part of our current series Refocus, we’re hosting a prayer meeting/book club every Saturday evening at 5pm called Focus Up. We’ll pray for more of the Holy Spirit in our community and go through the book Steps to Personal Revival (click to download).

Because of rising covid cases in our community, the leaders of this group have decided to make this event virtual. You can attend via the Zoom link on our Facebook event page or on our website.

Our healthcare workers are being hit hard as Covid cases are climbing to an all-time high. As a small gesture, we're planning a hot drink/snack stand as staff leave the hospital.

Two ways to contribute:
  1. Send us a brief, encouraging note, and we'll print it on a coffee sleeve.
  2. Drop off individually wrapped snacks (i.e. granola bars, bananas, etc.) to the church office.

Saturday, Jan 22 | 5pm

Coming up on Saturday, January 22, join us for a special organ concert entitled Joy, Solace, and Inspiration. It’ll feature the works of Bach, Ralf Bolting, and Rachel Laurin with Rachel Lammi and Joshua Goines performing. We hope to see you there as we continue to celebrate 50 years of our Organ!

Our Condolences

Bob Melashenko [pictured]

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the sudden passing of Dr. Bob Melashenko - someone deeply loved and respected by those who had the privilege of knowing him. A memorial service will be taking place this Saturday at 4pm in the Sanctuary (livestreams via Facebook Live and YouTube).

Dianne Leach

After a few months of recovery from her first surgery, our friend, Dianne Leach [pictured] just had to have another back surgery to repair an issue. Praise God that the surgery was once again successful, but there is also quite a bit of recovery time for her to get back on her feet. Please consider helping to support Dianne & her family with a meal or gift card.

Welcome to the newest member of our Kettering Church community, little Aliyah Mae Bussey [pictured]. She’s just over one week old and her parents, Adam & Malissa Bussey couldn’t be more excited! CONGRATS you guys!

||| Common Ground Concert

Join Elliot Smith and the Common Ground band in the Upper Room on Saturday, Jan 29 at 7pm to for a concert celebrating 25 years of music!

Common Ground is an acoustic folk/rock/jazz group that started in Nebraska. They wrote songs about their faith - the ups, downs and sideway moments we all experience. Over the years the five members have moved apart but their music has kept them connected.
