Inside Climate News
ICN turns 15!
Dear ICN Reader,

We’re celebrating a special anniversary this month at Inside Climate News: our newsroom is 15 years old!

In October 2007, ICN opened its doors with a two-person team and a little bit of pilot funding. The day we launched the website, we had 102 visitors. The second day, we had just 53.

How times have changed! We’ve grown to become the oldest and one of the largest dedicated climate newsrooms in the country.

Our journalists have released groundbreaking investigative reports, published thousands of stories, won a Pulitzer Prize and were finalists for a second, served as watchdogs of government and industry, shined light on striking cases of environmental injustice, and opened reporting hubs in regions across the country.

Throughout it all, we have stayed laser-focused on providing you with independent, expert reporting about the biggest story in human history: climate change.

It’s all been possible because of readers like you. This month, in honor of our anniversary, we’ve set a goal to raise $25,000 to keep our work going in the year ahead.

Will you show your support today by making a special anniversary gift to Inside Climate News?
Yes, I'll give now!

We have big plans for the year ahead: more investigations to release, polluters to hold accountable, journalists to train, and crucial stories to tell. This work has never been more necessary or urgent.

Will you invest in our work and the future of climate reporting?

Thank you for supporting our nonprofit newsroom and our work to report the facts about the climate crisis. We are so grateful that you are part of our community.
