How to talk to your boss

How confident are you when it comes to asking your boss tough questions – such as changing roles, going part-time or even asking for a pay rise?

According to our very own Zoe Drummond, in a story that featured in The Advertiser, Herald Sun, the NT News, Courier Mail, Daily Telegraph and more, it’s about showing your strengths and being prepared when you raise the issue.

Zoe has changed roles to become a graphic designer and video editor at Hughes and as a highly-valued team member, she has had plenty of support to grow in the role.

Hughes helps shed light on YES Solar

Previously Yates Electrical Services, YES Group is a South Australian-owned family business with more than 15 years of industry experience. In the past five years, YES Solar has completed more than 1,500 rooftop solar installations and constructed in excess of 100 solar farms – more than any other firm  in SA – ranking them 5th nationally for large-scale installations.

Hughes worked with YES Solar to redesign its website to promote and lift its online presence. Having previously worked on a number of projects for the YES group, Hughes was able to seamlessly translate across the look and feel of these projects to the online design.

A fresh look for Madderns

In recent months, Hughes has been working with Madderns to develop a new website. The site, which is dynamic, modern and sophisticated, involved our team writing copy, designing the site, creating a teaser video for the home screen plus a new brand video (featured below).

We also posted on various social media channels over a four-week campaign to promote the features of the site.
