Hello Panthers!

Get in the Halloween Spirit with our upcoming SGA event! Student Government Association presents Spooktacular! Mark you calendars for Spooktacular which will be on October 26th from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Pi Kappa Phi House. There will be a haunted house, pumpkin decorating, a live DJ, face painting, a candy station and a photo booth! All proceeds benefit United Way which is FIU's philanthropy. Take a break from midterms and enjoy a fun night with friends sponsored by your SGA.

Homecoming Has Begun!

This week our FIU will be transformed into a sea of blue and gold. Once again, we’ll call home our alumni – and welcome our community – for a week of rallies, concerts, parades and other exciting events that highlight our many traditions, accomplishments and student-athletes.

The Kopenhaver Center & SCJ Faculty Help Lead Journalism Day

On Saturday, October 16, the annual Florida Scholastic Press Association Day (Journalism Day) was hosted by the School of Communication + Journalism on the MMC campus. High school students from District 6 came to learn, participate and be inspired by our faculty and journalism professionals in the field. 

Mayaimi Opening Reception at MBUS

Come to the opening reception for MFA student Barbara Bollini's gallery hosted at the MBUS building on Lincoln Road.

The reception is on October 21, and doors open at 6:30 p.m.

CARTA and Roary Helped Host FIU's Annual Showcase at BBC

Once a year students both prospective and current are welcomed at the Annual Showcase, where they can learn about majors, courses, and everything scholastic. Our staff, faculty, and Roary were on hand to ensure that the event was a huge success.
