|MTC Neighborhood Gets a Facelift-
how to avoid parking frustrations during construction
Starting February 29th the City of Missoula will begin upgrading the sidewalks and curbing in the Taekwondo School neighborhood. The transformation is slated to take 8 weeks. This is great news for all of us as there are some obvious deficiencies that will be corrected. We will, however, be in need of some creative parking and drop-off/pick-up strategies.
First, we suggest that families car pool with other students whenever possible during this time period. Then budget a little extra time to get to class, and as they work directly around the TKD school adding curbing and completely redoing our parking along grant street, utilize the Northeast corner of the Southgate Mall lot for parking. Using the crosswalk at the Grant and South intersection you will be a very short walk from the MTC.
Thank you for doing what you can to eliminate any hair pulling hassles this construction season around MTC.
