On April 5th, Mobius and the Program Leadership Council will be hosting the first ever Vermont Mentoring Symposium at Vermont Technical College in Randolph. The day will be an opportunity for mentoring program professionals throughout Vermont to come together to collaborate, share, and learn from one another. The symposium will feature workshops, time to network with other mentoring professionals, and a mentor/mentee guest panel facilitated by Hal Cohen, Secretary of the Vermont Agency of Human Services.

If you are a mentoring program staff member or a board member we hope you will join us. The cost is $25 per participant, and includes a light breakfast and lunch. Register by March 24th.

Thank you to Vermont Technical College for donating the space, and to The Hunger Mountain Coop, Keurig Green Mountain, and Red Hen Baking Co. for donating items for breakfast.

People's United Grant
The People’s United Community Foundation, the philanthropic arm of People’s United Bank, recently awarded $2,500 to Mobius to support the Quality Mentoring System (QMS).

QMS is a national evaluation system developed by MENTOR (The National Mentoring Partnership) to ensure that mentoring programs are meeting all of the best practices in the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™. In collaboration with Vermont mentoring programs and MENTOR, Mobius adjusted this national system to fit the local needs of the Vermont mentoring community.
