January is National Mentoring Month!
National Mentoring Month is now in its 14th year and is a national campaign held each January to thank current mentors and recruit new volunteers. Mobius is working with mentoring programs and supporters throughout Vermont to raise awareness of mentoring through mentor recognition events, mentor pair activities, and benefit dinners at local restaurants.
We are so grateful to have the support of our 2015 Vermont Mentoring Month business sponsors.
I hope you will all find your own way to support mentoring in your community in the new year.

View and Share The Mentoring Public Service Announcement
Did you know that 1 in 3 young Vermonters will grow up without a formal or natural mentor? That means 32,500 youth in Vermont do not have any adult they can turn to for support beyond their immediate family. Northbranch Media
and Mobius worked together to create a new 30-second video
to help spread awareness and recruit new mentors for young Vermonters!
Thank you, Northbranch Media, for helping us raise awareness of the need for mentors in Vermont. Thanks also to Comcast
, Vermont Mentoring Month Media Sponsor, who will be airing the video as a sponsored ad through the month of January. Share the video with your friends, followers, family and anyone you think would make a good mentor!
