Comment on Possible Circulator Bus Changes

As part of the finalization of the 2017 Transit Development Plan, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is proposing changes to the Circulator bus system and asking for public comments here. In 2015, DDOT worked to evaluate a new route for the Circulator that would service NoMa. A survey was conducted, and over 900 people participated. The favorite routes identified in this survey would have serviced Shaw < Mount Vernon Triangle < NoMa < H Street NE or Logan Circle < Mount Vernon Triangle < NoMa < H Street NE. But no further study has occurred, and neither of these options is being proposed. Major service changes proposed in this plan involve the reconfiguration of two routes: Union Station – Navy Yard is proposed to become Eastern Market Metro – L’Enfant Plaza, and Potomac Avenue Metro – Skyland via Barracks Row is proposed to become Union Station – Congress Heights Metro. Find complete information on DDOT's proposed changes and leave your thoughts at the agency's website.
