Over the course of three years of POW! WOW! DC events, 50-plus incredible artworks have been added to walls around NoMa by talented D.C.-area and visiting artists. (Shown above: Bristol, UK, artist Richt at work during the 2018 gathering.) And starting today, even more will begin to appear as 16 artists descend on the neighborhood and bathe NoMa in thousands of gallons of paint. The fourth annual mural festival is on! Listed below are the basics on participating artists and POW! WOW! DC events. Head to the official event website for complete information.

Tanner Park Construction Cam

Work on the NoMa Parks Foundation's 2.5-acre Alethia Tanner Park is moving along at a great pace. If you'd like to keep tabs on how it's going, Forrester Construction has set up a live camera feed. The camera takes pictures every 15 minutes during the workday. Check it out! (Pro tip: The site creates time-lapse compilations, which are plenty fun to watch.)
