Our next Nerds in NoMa is next Tuesday, March 21st! 

Make sure to follow the event Facebook page for updates on speakers and register here to secure your spot at the event.  As a reminder Nerds in NoMa is free and open to the public.

Summer Screen is back and it's time to vote again! 


Summer Screen 2017 is right around the corner, and that means we need YOU to help us determine what's going to be shown! The theme this year is Presidential Summer! Visit our online poll here and cast your votes for which films you want to enjoy this summer!

Wundergarten Presents: SHOW * OFF Saturday, March 18th!

The Wundergarten at 1st and L St NE will premiere SHOW*OFF, which is a "brunch in harmony" celebrating closet rockstars and their fans! Jump on the stage with a live four-piece band and show off the talent you've been hiding from your friends! Wundergarten will take you on the music tour of your dreams while you have food, drinks, and make merriment!

With traditional group 'beer hall' standards for all to sing, elimination competitions, games, and your very own 15 minutes of fame, Wundergarten has it all in a mind-blowing, all-original brunch event.

$20 ticket price includes entry (cover charge) and brunch buffet. Table selection is on a first come basis.

The Salon Professional Academy is now open in NoMa!

The beauty school franchise, The Salon Professional Academy (TSPA), has opened a new location in NoMa at 90 K Street NE!

TSPA DC is an ultra-modern, professional hair and beauty training facility. The TSPA DC academy will offer Cosmetology with an Esthetics program to follow. TSPA schools offer education options; providing students access to scholarships and grants to invest in their professional development.

The Salon Professional Academy will also offer innovative beauty and spa services to the public at a great value. Services will include hair styling, color, nail, and waxing. Their professionally trained students will provide you with quality services under the supervision of industry experienced educators within a state-of-the art-facility.

Washington Project for the Arts Auction Gala

Washington Project for the Arts, our long-time arts partner who has worked on supplying art for The Lobby Project is hosting the eagerly anticipated 36th Annual Washington Project for the Arts Auction Gala on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the historic Uline Arena in NoMa. The event includes cocktails, dinner, and dancing, as well their fabulous annual art auction featuring selected works from local artists!

Please note that this year there will be no public preview in advance of the Auction Gala. In order to view the artworks in person, you will need to purchase tickets to the event.
