Thank you for the warm reception my family and I have received since arriving at Parker University in May. 2016 was a great year for Parker University with many exciting accomplishments. I am optimistic that in 2017 we will realize even more successes!

While I do not personally make New Year resolutions, I do set goals at the New Year and endeavor to reach those goals. My prayers for you in this upcoming year are that you all may experience personal growth and fulfillment while achieving your personal and professional goals.

Congratulations to the 1st Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Graduating Class

Parker Hosts Chiropractic Summit to Address Legislative and Legal Issues Arising in Texas

Dr. Bill Morgan will host representatives from across the chiropractic leadership spectrum to create strategies for addressing legal and legislative challenges to the profession in Texas. These actions pose direct threats to the chiropractic scope of practice in Texas. An array of activities will be discussed including an all-out campaign to influence Texas legislators at the Texas Chiropractic Legislative Conference that will take place in Austin in February. Parker University’s Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program is in need of some pediatric clinical sites. If your clinic focuses on caring for infants, children and/or young adults we would love an opportunity to chat with you about becoming a fieldwork site for our OTA students! Rock Tape Seminar

Interested in Rock Tape? Parker Alum Dr. Danny Porcelli will be on Campus on February 3rd at 1pm covering kinesiology taping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). There will be live demos of common taping applications for pain and posture as well as an overview of new IASTM tools. For more information contact Kris Richey at Krichey2@parker.edu.
