As we entered the final week of ART+CLMATE=CHANGE 2015, CLIMARTE's Bronwyn Johnson and Guy Abrahams were in Canberra with David Buckland at the invitation of the European Delegation to Australia to present an exhibition of David's Ice Texts at the National Arboretum. Marking the occasion of Europe Day, the exhibition was opened by H.E. Sem Fabrizi, Ambassador of the European Delegation to Australia in the presence of over 250 Ambassadors, Diplomats, federal and ACT politicians, representatives of various government departments and, Christiana Figueres, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Ms Figueres and the UNFCCC have recently been criticised by the Prime Minister's economic advisor, Mr Maurice Newman.
See Guy Abrahams' response in the letters section of The Age.
