Developing Finnish Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation between Europe, Africa and the LAC region

Welcome to the first newsletter edition on FinCEAL, an initiative of the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. The purpose of this project is to increase support for the Finnish research community and to enhance their participation in bi-regional EU-Africa and EU-LAC policy dialogues on Science, Technology and Innovation. FinCEAL also aims at enhancing the cooperation between researchers and the private sector in Finland as well as with their counterparts in Europe, Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean. UniPID (Finnish University Partnership for International Development) is implementing the project until the end of 2014.
