On 20
th November 2019, PeakCare will be hosting our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and end-of-year celebrations, an event that will drip with decorum and ooze with elegance. PeakCare is very keen to make sure that a large and diverse audience is able to enjoy this glamorous and uplifting event. We are especially keen to make sure that young people and parents who have a lived experience of the child protection system are able to join in the festivities and be acknowledged for the critical role that their voices play in improving outcomes for Queensland children and young people.
Unfortunately, young people and parents do not usually work for organisations that pay their way to attend events like this one. And here is where
YOU, the
BIG GUYS of the child protection system – whether you be a
government or non-government organisation – can help out!
When purchasing tickets for members of your staff to attend, pledge an amount to cover the cost of one or more additional tickets. Each ticket costs $150. Advice of your pledges will be forwarded to the Family Inclusion Networks and the CREATE Foundation for their allocation of tickets to parents and young people who wish to attend.
Advice of your pledge is to be forwarded to Annika Stehn (astehn@peakcare.org.au) as soon as possible and by no later than Monday 4th November, one day prior to the close of ticket sales. When emailing your pledge, please advise if you consent to your organisation being thanked in the evening’s program and noted within other promotional materials, or if you prefer that your pledge be noted as an anonymous donation.
