Apple Releases
Mac OS 10.8
Mountain Lion

On Wednesday morning Apple released the latest version of their operating system for Macintosh computers. Dubbed "Mountain Lion", OS X 10.8 is touted has having over 200 new features. Offered through the online App Store as a $19 download, Apple continues to reduce the barriers to upgrading your computer to the latest version of their OS. Here at Call Andy! headquarters, we've already installed Mountain Lion on various systems for testing and we're closely watching the web for reactions and impressions.

In the meantime, as always, we're recommending that you take a more conservative approach. The shear number of new features and changes presented by OS X Mountain Lion ensures that there are going to be many ramifications to upgrading.

Despite the relative ease of installation and the incredibly low price, we recommend that all clients refrain from upgrading to OS X Mountain Lion at this time.

If you think Mountain Lion is something you need on your Mac, please give us a call and we can discuss the implications and best strategy to make sure your upgrade goes flawlessly.
