How To Cut Your Mobile Bill
Do you find that even though you have the 'mutt's nuts' of call tariffs on your mobile phone, you still end up with lots of extra call charges? I normally have charges of at least £20.00 (31%) on top of my tariff even though I have unlimited cross network calls. After speaking with the very helpful man at O2 customer services, I discovered that it was non-geographical numbers (NGNs) ie 0870, 0845 and 0844 numbers that I was calling that were the culprits.
The 'man from O2' mentioned above told me about a website called www.saynoto0870.com. You enter either the company name or the NGN and they will provide you with alternative normal landline numbers to call which are included in your free call allowance. Of course, there are some numbers that aren't available ie Sky TV but the majority are.
I am now waiting for my next bill to see how much I've cut my call costs down by....watch this space.
