Australian photographer Sealey Brandt is based in Singapore and famously known throughout Asia as an exclusive family portrait photographer. She is taking commissions to photograph private families in New York City and the Hamptons this Summer. Her work is pure, beautiful and spontaneous. She captures the soul and spirit of each and every person she photographs.
Sealey is a craftsman. She shoots purely Black and White film and prints her prints by hand in the dark room, which is the only way a print can be handed down through generations. She can also produce your images onto canvas, acrylic and produces beautiful books etc.
She comes from a famous family of photographers in Australia and has mastered her craft throughout the world. Her father was the 'photographic god father of the advertising industry' so she started young and learnt from the best.

"Last Christmas, my husband surprised me with a beautiful gift. He organised for Sealey Brandt to come to a private Island where we were holidaying on in Asia to photograph our 3 children, aged 5, 7 and 9.
Sealey has a great connection with children. The atmosphere was warm and cheerful. While remaining themselves, Zoe, Smilla and Elliott played the game. Driven by Sealey’s enthusiasm, they felt confident enough to try out or even suggest new things. The shoot ended with a very spontaneous family portrait.
During the viewing appointment, I was really touched to see how Sealey had succeeded in capturing and bringing out the personnality of each of my children. Sealey’s expert eye was of great help in making a final selection between my natural favorites and images with a certain edge.
The destination of the photo was also taken into consideration. From amazing framed silver prints to precious souvenir boxes of smaller formats (one for each child) or booklets (a good idea for family gifts !), there are many options available ! / Sealey offers the best options according to the destination of the print.

Sealey Brandt Photography was recently showcased in ARTSingapore 2009 - Asia's largest contemporary art fair. For the first time in Asian history, photography was considered an art medium and shown at the art fair. A wonderful honour to have been a part of.
