Social Enterprise Cafè opens in Inverness

Artysans, Inverness’ new café, is open for business in Strothers Lane, Inverness. Developed by the Calman Trust young people’s service, Artysans is a social enterprise. Every penny raised will be invested into the training and education of vulnerable young people. Located near to both the bus and railway stations, Artysans is designed to provide a wonderful customer experience. This means that the young people involved have the best possible training experience, where their skills are honed to industry standard whilst they work towards a vocational qualification. Artysans is an ideal place for breakfast before shopping or work, light lunches, teas, coffees and great baking - all available and freshly made on site. You can also taste the coffee which is roasted on the premises, watch the roasting take place, try different blends, and buy the beans of your favorite blend. In addition, Artysans offers a take away service all day, and has a busy outside catering business able to take orders from across the Inverness area. Customers can support this vital social purpose, or they can just sit in, relax, read the paper and enjoy the service – the best of both worlds!
